Shreve Crump & Low, Gurgling Cod Water Pitcher

Sunday, June 15th, 2008

This Shreve Crump & Low Gurgling Cod water pitcher makes a gurgling sound while pouring water. We discovered the history of this water pitcher after seeing an ad on the back of a magazine that resembled a water pitcher in the already furnished china cabinet of my friend’s apartment in Boston. We read this article and were fascinated at the history of the pitcher. The article mentions a video that I couldn’t find, so we made our own. Enjoy!

Sunset Boats

Activities of the day

  • Breakfast with the family
  • Morning swim in the ocean
  • Made a dent in my book, “The Transparent Leader”
  • Went to the gym/spa next door at Pueblo Bonito Rose
  • Tacos for dinner at an authentic taco shop in town
  • Walked around the dock area and ate ice cream
  • Walked back to the hotel and watched the hotel’s Mexican Fiesta with fireworks

Things to Accomplish

  • Go Parasailing
  • Finish “The Transparent Leader”
  • Spend quality time with the family
  • Eat more tacos

Below are the pictures of the day, with the featured picture being “El Shrimp Bucket”.  Chelta and I came across this seemingly defunct golf cart while walking home from dinner around the dock.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

This year marks the 15th year of the Hamilton Family vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  I arrived on my own from Bristol, CT at 1:30 PM, while the rest of the family made a classic Hamilton arrival at 5:00 PM, due to a missed flight in the morning.

Here are a few photos to kick off the week, most of which I took by myself while I was waiting for my tardy family to arrive.
