There are 9 jars filled with 100 marbles each. 8 of the 9 jars are filled with 1 gram marbles. The other jar is filled with 1.1g marbles. There is a scale with an empty jar. You are allowed to fill the empty jar with any amount of marbles from the 9 jars one time. The weight will only be calculated when you are done putting the marbles in. Take 1 from the first jar, 2 from the next, etc. and then 10 from the 10th. Sum the marbles. You will get a mass of 55 + .5*N, where N is the jar with the 1.1 gram marbles.
FIRST.
